Once design has been completed, our online proofing tool will scan it for typical problems and create a “proof” that you may review and accept to confirm your order.
Send your artwork to artwork@thehauteprint.co.uk after making your purchase if you’re experiencing problems with the online proofing tool, and we’ll respond to you right away. Alternatively, if your file is larger than 20MB, email us your artwork via WeTransfer. So that we can match up your artwork with your order, don’t forget to include the web order number from your confirmation email.
Before printing, our studio team thoroughly inspects each piece of artwork. Not sure how to arrange your artwork? We’ll be pleased to assist you if you contact our Personal Artworker team at pa@thehauteprint.co.uk.
SILK: Compared to gloss paper, our silk-coated paper has a softer texture and a bright print with a faint sheen. Ballpoint pens work well to write on it, but wait until the ink is dry before handling. Here are some typical applications for silk:
115gsm – 170gsm: Ideal for flyering, handouts, and takeaway flyers.
250gsm: Perfect for restaurant menus, events, and business flyers.
350gsm & Above: Suitable for postcards, luxury brand flyers, and invitations.
UNCOATED- Classic printer paper is uncoated. Compared to our coated stocks, it has a rougher texture, making it ideal for writing on because it is more porous and quickly absorbs ink fora dry, smudge-free surface.
Thicker uncoated stocks are used for greeting cards and loyalty cards, while thinner uncoated stocks are frequently used as notepad paper.
- Fully writable
- Absorbs ink
SPECIALTY STOCKS:
There are several high-end printing stocks available with distinctive colours and textures that will make your print stand out.
Every brand has a choice, from luxurious cream card to earthy-brown Kraft material.
- Uncoated and writable
- FSC certified
- Unique print finish
SILK LAMINATION OPTION 250GSM + 350GSM:
If you decide against adding a lamination, your print will retain the stock’s natural texture.
Your product will feel thinner because it won’t have an additional layer of lamination on top, and it will also help keep the price down.
- Cheaper option
- Natural texture
- Thinner feel
Matt- This protective coating gives the print a smooth, understated appearance without removing its inherent shine. Excellent for settings with artificial lighting or where reflected light can make it challenging to view the design.
Matt lamination not only adds softness but also mutes colours because it might result in a weaker contrast on darker tones.
- Zero shine
- Softens colours
- High end look and feel
Gloss- This gives your print an ultra-high-shine glossy coating, like what you’d find on the cover of a premium magazine, brochure or catalogue.
As light bounces off this protective lamination, colours appear brighter and more vibrant.
- High shine
- Slippery smooth finish
- Reflective and eye-catching
